(Item: GF1) Here is a classic re-issue style helmet. Exterior displays a moderate amount of wear along with superficial scuffing. Approx 96% of the rough textured factory feldgrau (field gray) paint remaining. Original period applied Heer (Army) decal is the correct decal for a re-issue helmet. Decal is approx in the same condition at 96%. Liner system 100% original to the helmet. All three untouched split pin rivet fasteners intact and complete with all three slotted washers. Leather liner fully pliable and undamaged with an age darkened appearance. Buckle end of chinstrap is aluminum. Long portion of strap is fully pliable which has been period cut down. Overall condition very good.

WWII M35 Q64 German Army/Heer Helmet
(Item: W) An excellent condition and harder to find Quist helmet with nearly all of the factory pea green paint remaining. Both decals period applied and correct style. Heer “Bigfoot” decal approx 98% while the National tri-color decal approx 93%. Liner system 100% original to the helmet. All three untouched split pin rivet fasteners intact and complete with all three slotted washers. Liner band is the early unreinforced type which is manufacturer stamped and dated D.R.P. Schuberth-Werke G. m. b. H. Braunschweig 1937. Leather liner fully pliable, undamaged and has taken on a darkened aged appearance. Drawstring in place. Chinstrap buckle is the correct style aluminum. Long portion of strap is in full length and pliable. Manufacturer and date on tip is visible but indiscernible.

(Item: X) Exterior displays some light wear with approx 97% of the original factory paint remaining. Both factory and period applied decals are commensurate with the overall wear and rate approx 98%. Tight fitting liner system 100% original to the helmet. All three untouched split pin rivet fasteners intact and complete with all three slotted washers. Leather liner fully pliable, undamaged and has taken on a darkened aged appearance. Leather liner also has 8 1/2 tongues which is less common for a size 66 helmet. Drawstring in full length with original knot still in place. Overall very good condition.

WWII M40 Q62 German Combat/Field Police Helmet
(Item: Y) This helmet comes out of my personal collection. Exterior displays some light wear with approx 97% of the original factory paint remaining. Both period applied decals are in much better condition which come in at nearly 100%. Tight fitting liner system 100% original to the helmet. All three untouched split pin rivet fasteners intact and complete with all three slotted washers. Leather liner fully pliable, undamaged and has taken on a darkened aged appearance. Drawstring in full length with original knot still in place. This is a rear stamped Q62 helmet which is normally seen as a no decal helmet. However, Combat Police units donned decaled helmets right up until the end of the war. I also have 2 or 3 more of this configuration in my personal collection. Overall very good to excellent condition.

(Item: DP2) Exterior of helmet has a rough OD green paint which is nearly 100%. It is a rear seam medium size which dates it at 1945. Swivel chinstrap bales. 2 prong steel chinstrap fully intact. Net is 100% with no tears. Liner has the Schlueter heat stamp. Leather sweatband and webbing intact. Overall excellent condition.

(Item: T) This particular helmet was acquired directly from the daughter of the US Army Anti-Aircraft Command Veteran, Private Donald Mazzera out of Oakland, California. Period photos of Mr. Mazzera in uniform will be included with the sale.
Exterior of helmet displays approx 85+% of its factory feldgrau paint. The left side of the helmet has sustained a few bullet strikes most likely from a .45 cal which occured on the battlefield. The original factory and period applied Runic decal on the right side survived in near perfect condition still showing off great detail and would rate at approx 93%. Very tight fitting liner system 100% original to the helmet. All three untouched split pin rivet fasteners intact and complete with all three slotted washers. Leather liner fully pliable, undamaged and has taken on a darkened aged appearance. Drawstring in full length with original knot still in place. Buckle end of chinstrap is steel with approx 75% of its gray paint intact. Long portion of strap in full length, fully pliable with a small split near the buckle. It is manufacturer stamped and dated on tip 1940. Overall very good condition.

WWII M40 EF64 German Army/Heer Helmet
(Item: L) Straight out of the “Woodwork” from a private seller in Kentucky. Exterior displays approx 95% of the original factory paint. Period applied decal has an extra coat of paint which was most likely done in the field for concealment. Very tight fitting liner system 100% original to the helmet. All three untouched split pin rivet fasteners intact and complete with all three slotted washers. Leather liner undamaged and slightly stiff. Drawstring is in its full length with original knot still in place. Buckle end of chinstrap is steel. Long portion of strap is all there but has one break in the middle. The remaining part of the strap is threaded through the buckle then goes down in between the liner and shell. It is manufacturer stamped and dated on tip 1941. Overall good condition.

WWII German Clemons Wagner Administration Visor
(Item: H) This one comes out of my personal collection. Here is a gorgeous and absolute mint Administrative visor cap. The cap has no holes or mothing what so ever on the body itself. Aluminum eagle has a nicely aged patina. Aluminum bullion wreath fully intact with one tiny hole on the lower right hand side. Braided chincord firmly attached. Interior of cap very clean. All stitching very tight. Nothing loose. Very clear Clemons Wagner logo under the celluloid sweat diamond which has no damage. Paper label indicates size with soldiers name and date. Interestingly enough the button pressed in the side of the sweatband is the initial of the same last name that is written on the paper label. The first initial is not affixed but was at one time. Attached at the interior peak of the cap is an oil cloth tag from the manufacturer that basically reads, Before the tag is removed that this form (cap) is weatherproof. On the left side of the sweatband is also a manufacturer name pressed in the leather that is present but hard to read. One the opposite side is an oval ink stamp with the name Clemons Wagner Braunschweig Apr 1942. A top shelf item that can not be upgraded.

(Item: J) Exterior of helmet camouflage consists of a base color in dark green with a dark brick red over top. The war time period paint was applied by dabbing a rag over the entire outside. No decal evident on left side. Liner system 100% original to the helmet. All three untouched split pin rivet fasteners intact and complete with all three slotted washers. Zinc liner band is manufacturer stamped and dated Schuberth-Werke K.-G. Braunschweig D.R.P. 1943. Leather liner fully pliable, undamaged and has been treated by a previous owner. Drawstring intact. Buckle end of chinstrap is steel. Only approx 8 inches of the long portion strap remain. Overall very good condition.

(Item: 1A) Here is a genuine bonafide untouched double decal SS helmet as it was isssued right from the factory that has seen actual carnage on the battlefield. Exterior does exhibit some frontline wear and tear but is still in terrific collectible condition. The pea green paint is approx 92-94%. Whitewash may have been applied at one time as there are remnants of a white substance in areas throughout the helmet. Both authentic and factory period applied are commensurate with each other. Liner system 100% original to the helmet. All three untouched split pin rivet fasteners intact and complete with all three slotted washers. Reinforced aluminum liner band manufacturer stamped and dated D.R.P. Schuberth-Werke K.-G. Braunschweig 1938. Leather liner fully pliable, undamaged and has taken on a darkened aged appearance. Drawstring in full length with original knot still in place. Buckle end of chinstrap is aluminum. Long portion of strap is fully pliable and in its entire length. Manufacturer and date on tip 1939. (Item: 2A) Exterior factory pea green paint is approx 98% with very minor storage wear. Authentic and factory period applied Police decal approx 96%. Although it has a hit on the left side it does not effect the overall statuesque appearance of the Eagle. The Party decal is in much better condition at approx 98%. Super tight fitting liner system 100% original to the helmet. All three untouched split pin rivet fasteners intact and complete with all three slotted washers. Reinforced aluminum liner band manufacturer stamped and dated D.R.P. Schuberth-Werke K.-G. Braunschweig 1938. Very clear and crisp domestamp on interior crown of helmet dated 1938 as well. Leather liner fully pliable, undamaged and has taken on a darkened aged appearance. Drawstring in full length with original knot still in place. Buckle end of chinstrap has 98% of the gray paint remaining. Long portion of strap is fully pliable and in its entire length. Manufacturer and date on tip 1940. Overall excellent condition.

WWII M38 CKL66 German Fallschirmjäger Helmet
(Item: 3A) Exterior factory paint approx 95%. Liner system original to the helmet that is outfitted with late war steel slotted bolts. The black foam pads still have a slight give to them and are not completely hardened from age. Leather liner undamaged, fully intact and displays the late war R.B.Nr. as well. The chinstrap harness is in as found conditon and a very good reproduction. An excellent representative helmet despite the chinstrap harness.

WWII M40 ET64 German Army/Heer Chickenwire Helmet
(Item: YY) This is one of the very few authentic full basket chickenwire helmets available on the market. It is also a “Woodwork” find out of Iowa, USA. It was acquired from the nephew of the Veteran that was in the 607th Tank Destroyer Battalion. The remainder of the information will be provided to the buyer. The wire itself is zinc coated and has held up rather well over the years. The correlation between the helmet and wire is exactly what you would want to see. In some areas there is perfect transference from wire to the shell. On the underside of the visor you can see how the wire protected the paint. On the exterior left side a Heer decal can be clearly seen under the original wartime repaint. Tight fitting liner system 100% original to the helmet. All three untouched split pin rivet fasteners intact and complete with all three slotted washers. Leather liner undamaged and fully intact. Drawstring in full length with original knot still in place. Buckle end of chinstrap is steel with approx 50% of the gray paint remaining. WWII M38 ET66 German Paratrooper Helmet
(Item: WW) Exterior displays approx 96% factory paint. Authentic and period applied Luftwaffe adler is approx 92-93%. Liner suspension system is original to the helmet. Early style spanner bolts hold it firmly in place with the correct nuts attached on the interior. The black foam padding does have some give as they are not completely rock solid from age. Chinstrap harness is complete with the leather side starting to flake. The snap on the buckle end is the Stocko style with the friction buckle on the other side. Overall condition is good and priced accordingly since only the leather head liner is missing.

WW2 M35 Q64 German SS Helmet
(Item: OO) Helmets like this don’t become available on the open market too often. Exterior has been period repainted over the smooth glossy factory paint. Many times this was done to various helmets to eliminate the shine in the battlefield that is associated with the M35′s. The paint is in the low to mid 90% range with most of the abraiding occuring on the left side. Both authentic and period applied decals in very good condition. The Party decal does exhibit some lifting but still shows fantastic detail. Since the helmet has been repainted it has the correctly applied Pocher style Runic decal. Very common with re-issued or repainted helmets. Runic decal survived in excellent condition. Tight fitting liner system 100% original to the helmet. All three untouched split pin rivet fasteners intact and complete with all three slotted washers. Leather liner fully pliable, undamaged and has taken on a darkened aged appearance. (Item: KK) This Paratrooper helmet came out of Mid State New York about 1 year ago. Exterior does exhibit moderate front line battlefield wear over the factory paint which is approx 94+%. Untouched and tight fitting liner system 100% original to the helmet and affixed by 4 aluminum slotted bolts. The black foam pads have become stiff over the years which is typical. Leather liner fully intact and pliable. No loose stitching at the seams but has a small mouse bite on the right side. Chinstrap harness pliable with no loose stitching although it has a small mouse bite as well. Overall very good condition

WW2 M40 ET62 German Whermacht Camo Helmet
(Item: DD) Exterior displays an attractive standard 2 tone field applied camouflage in green and tan. A conservative 94% of the camo paint remaining. Written in paint are some of the battles that were fought during the war in a particular Country. Africa 43, Italy 43 and France 44. Most likely painted by the GI when he was overseas. No decal under paint that I can detect. Tight fitting liner system 100% original to the helmet. Two of the three untouched split pin rivet fasteners intact and complete with all three slotted washers. It is what appears to be a pop rivet in the rear of the helmet. Leather liner fully pliable, undamaged and has taken on a darkened aged appearance. Drawstring in full length with original knot still in place. Buckle end of chinstrap is aluminum. Long portion has a repair near the chinstrap retaining stud. It is still pliable and in full length. Manufacturer and date on tip is indiscernible. A great conversation piece that is in excellent condition.

WW2 SS Allgemeine Enlisted Visor Cap
Visor cap is made of tricot wool which is in excellent condition. Other than the very small hole in the top of the cap there is virtually no moth holes or tracking. White piping also in excellent condition with no mothing. Front of cap does show where the insignia once resided. Leather chinstrap complete. Visor brim does display some small chipping along the edge. Reverse side of visor brim shows the SS RZM ink stamp over the crosshatch. Leather sweatband stitching is tight and not loose. On reverse of sweatband is date of manufacture. Interior lining is original and untouched with unknown names written inside. Correct cloth tag sewn on lining. Celluloid sweat diamond has one small piece cracked out on the right side. If outfitted with the correct insignia this would be a fantastic looking cap. Overall very good condition.

(Item: M) A very hard to find SA gladiator helmet that has been war time painted in a tan color. Approx 95% paint remaining. Authentic and period applied Sturmabteilung (SA) decals commensurate with the overall wear of the helmet. SA eagle approx 96-97% whereas the SA logo is approx 93-94%. Liner material is cloth and has shrunk over time. The chinstrap is the celluloid style that is undamaged and in full length. Scarce helmet in overall very good condition.

(Item: R) A very nice eye catching two tone war time camouflage helmet. Colors consist of ecru and brick red which encompass approx 95+% of the exterior. The Heer decal was painted around leaving it exposed with much of the detail intact. Liner system 100% original to the helmet. All three untouched split pin rivet fasteners intact and complete with all three slotted washers. Leather liner fully pliable, undamaged and has taken on a darkened aged appearance. WWII M35 SE66 German Army/Heer Field Paint Helmet
(Item: P) Exterior of helmet has a field repaint. It’s rather common to find combat helmets in this configuration because the early M35 helmets had a smooth exterior finish that gave off a shine. By repainting them in the field it eliminated the shine. There is one very small crease to the right rear that is not noticeable. The Heer decal was painted around leaving it exposed. Tight fitting liner system 100% original to the helmet. All three untouched split pin rivet fasteners intact and complete with all three slotted washers. Leather liner fully pliable, undamaged and has taken on a darkened aged appearance. Drawstring is a replacement. Buckle end of chinstrap is aluminum. Long portion of strap is fully pliable and in its entire length. Manufacturer and date on tip is indiscernible. Nicely named in white paint to the German soldier on the rear of the flange Obgefr. (Obergefreiter) Schubert or the equalivent of a US Lance Corporal.

(Item: N) An exceptional condition SS helmet that would be very hard to upgrade. Exterior factory paint is mostly intact with very minor storage wear that rates approx 98+%. Authentic and factory period applied decal is commensurate with the overall wear of the helmet and comes in a 98+%. Attached are 200 x microscope images that show the correct construction of the decal with the underlying milky white adhesive. Tight fitting liner system 100% original to the helmet. All three untouched split pin rivet fasteners intact and complete with all three slotted washers. The steel liner band is manufacturer stamped and dated D.R.P. 1943. Leather liner fully pliable, undamaged with a darkened creamy color. Drawstring is in its full length with original knot still in place. WWII M40 ET66 German Luftwaffe Tri-Color Camo Helmet
(Item: F) This helmet comes from out of the “Woodwork” of Ohio. Exterior of helmet displays a tri-color camo typically called among collectors as a “Normandy” camo. Camo colors consist of green, tan and brick red with woodchips mixed in the paint which was applied during war time period. The slate gray paint on the interior indicates it would be a Luftwaffe helmet. However, no decal can be detected under the paint on the exterior left side. Very tight fitting liner system 100% original to the helmet. All three untouched split pin rivet fasteners intact and complete with all three slotted washers. Leather liner fully pliable, undamaged and has taken on a darkened aged appearance. Drawstring is in its full length with original knot still in place. Buckle end of chinstrap is aluminum. Long portion of strap fully pliable that has been period cut down an inch or two. The name scratched in the paint on the exterior right side could be that of the German soldier. (Item: AC1) Here is a perfect example of an authentic half basket chicken wire helmet. The chicken wire is zinc coated that displays a correct marriage between wire and helmet. After being together for 65+ years the zinc has created deposits or transference wear to the helmet shell. The retaining wire is steel which also shows the correct age. Liner system 100% original to the helmet. All three untouched split pin rivet fasteners intact and complete with all three slotted washers. Leather liner fully pliable, undamaged and has taken on a darkened aged appearance. There is an illegible name written on liner which is that of the soldier. There was also a name written in white paint on the rear of the flange that was scratched out. Drawstring in full length. Overall excellent condition.
